RHS Family, Congratulations on a fantastic 2024-25!! Thank you for all of your work and support of our students, staff, and community! Check out our 2024-25 Points of Pride! Great stuff! We will not be sending out report cards through the mail. Once grades are finalized, parents and guardians can access report cards through the Family Access portal in Skyward. If you have any questions about that, then please contact the RHS Office (275-6675). RHS Office Summer Hours: 8:00-4:00 pm (closed from 12:00-1:00 pm for lunch) Monday-Thursday. Today's Baseball Regional game @ Pinconning will start @ 5:00 pm instead of the original start time of 4:00 pm due to weather issues.

BASEBALL REGIONAL SEMIFINALS TODAY! Our Bucks travel to Pinconning today to take on the Spartans @ 4:00 pm. Tickets must be purchsed through GoFan (https://gofan.co/app/school/MI10367). Winner of this game plays on Sat, June 7 vs. the winner of Evart & Hart in the Regional Final @ Traverse City Central. GO BUCKS!

We're excited to host our 2nd annual RHS Job Fair on Wed, Apr 23 during both lunches (11:00-12:30). RHS kids will have the chance to meet with local businesses about possible summer jobs and/or post-graduation positions. Kudos to Jesse Waterman and our Culture Committee for putting it together!!

On May 8, RHS is hosting a blood drive sponsored by Versiti, the Blood Center of Michigan. The drive will be held in the RHS Library from 8:00-1:00 pm. Scan the QR code to schedule an appointment to dontate. Students 16 and older may sign up to donate. 16 year olds will need to turn in a parent consent form before making an appointment. All of the blood that is donated stays in northern MI. Thank you for considering donating!

RAPS is partnering with the lead researcher from the book Anxious Generation, Zach Rausch, to share about the dangers of cell phones on the mental health of our youth. When: May 27 in person and on Zoom 6-7:00pm Where: RHS Cafeteria or via Zoom. RSVP by clicking the registration link OR emailing Desiree’ Baerlocher (email baerlocherd@rapsk12.net if you'd like to Zoom or join in person and how many adults/students if in person) Dinner will be provided to those attending in person at RHS. Dinner begins at 5:15pm. A supervised activity will be available for young students. RSVP before May 22.

Reminder that RHS is hosting a Testing Info Night tonight @ 6:00 pm in the library. Learn about all things testing, especially how to do well on the tests!!

Due to deteriorating weather conditions, Roscommon Area Public Schools will be closed for Wednesday, April 2nd. Decisions regarding after school activities will be communicated later today through the listserv.

Congrats to our GBB team on their Regional Semifinal win over Evart last night, 41-33! We will be running a spec bus for tomorrow's Regional Final game vs. Meridian @ Beal City on Wed, Mar 12 @ 7:00 pm. We will need 25+ kids to sign up to ride the bus; cost will be $10.00 for the ticket and any money kids want to bring for concessions. We only had four students sign up for last night's game, so hopefully we'll get more for tomorrow! This info was announced at school as interested students have been asked to pick up a permission slip today and bring it back tomorrow signed with their ticket money.

RHS Announcement: For the GBB Regional vs. Evart @ Beal City tomorrow, we will try to run a spec bus. We'll need 25+ students to sign up. Interested students will need to turn in $20 (for ticket and for bus) and a permission slip to Mr. Ewald tomorrow morning by 9:00 am. If we do not have enough kids, then the bus will not run. The permission slip was emailed to all students. #gobucks P.S. Coach Lowe and Coach Civinskas wanted to get the message out that if track athletes wish to go to the GBB game, then they may begin practice on Tues, Mar 11.

RHS CTE students will not have classes tomorrow at RMS. Students are to report to RHS.

Due to an issue with the well, there will be no school for RMS students tomorrow, Friday, Feb 21st. Both RES and RHS will operate normally.

Thursday, Feb.13th - The girls' basketball game will be played as scheduled tonight with the first game at 5:30. The Winter Carnival activities will be postponed and rescheduled.
