Student Counsel Positions for next Year

If you would like to run for your class president, vice-president, secretary, or treasurer position for next year, petitions are available in the office right now. As of this morning, so one is running for treasurer of the 2014 class. No one is running for vice- president of the class of 2015. And no one is running for vice-president, secretary or treasurer of next year's senior class. Remember, everyone is busy. If you all wait for someone else to do it, then no one will do it. Don't be lame. Pony-up and participate. Petitions are due to Miss Young today.

Free Sports Physicals

Photo order forms for the Graduation ceremony will be handed out on Monday evening prior to Senior Awards. Extra forms may be picked up in the office. Please return your completed order with payment prior to the Graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 24.

2012 Yearbooks on Sale Now

Yearbooks are on sale at RHS for $32 until June 8^th!

(The school yearbook was eliminated last year due to budget cuts. Parents and students both voiced support to have one again this year if they organize and create it. The price has been cut in half and we must sell a minimum order of 125. If we fail to reach our target this year, the yearbook will be dropped for the 2012 – 2013 school year.)

RMS Student Wins Ice Cream for His School!

Roscommon Middle School student Noah Ekdom was selected by the Michigan DNR as an Outstanding Outdoor Kid for going above and beyond to preserve, protect and promote outdoor recreation opportunities in Michigan. Noah and the other Outstanding Outdoor Kid winners got a chance to serve on a panel of celebrity judges to choose the official Pure Michigan ice cream flavor of the Michigan State Parks. The judges selected Pure Michigan Caramel Apple as the winner. The maker of the ice cream, Hudsonville Ice Cream will come to Roscommon Middle School on May 18th to serve up ice cream to Noah and the rest of the students of RMS. Way to go, Noah!
